» Capacity Building Training 2010-2011

 2nd, 3rd, 4th September 2010 in the NGOs Union, Heliopolis were outstanding days at the beginning of the new iEARN Egypt year. 25 students from 4 different governorates participated in the Capacity Building Program. The age range of the students was from 12 to 20 years. They learned many essential skills to start working in the next year. Here are some examples of the sessions: “How to make a project”, “Presentation Skills”, “School Visit Content” and more sessions. |

We are pleased to announce iEARN Egypt Students’ Board elections for 2010- 2012 term. You are welcome to join SBoard as LYR, team leader or a member.

iEARN Egypt is working on securing suitable funds to support a number of Egyptian youth and educators, actively involved in iEARN Egypt and ACCESS Alumni Network, to participate in the iEARN Annual International Conference that will take place in Barrie, Canada, July 12 – 17 , 2010.
The deadline for submitting the application form is Saturday, June 12th, 2010 at 4:00 P.M., Cairo Local Time.

» YouthCaN Egypt 2010 Conference

At Mansoura University, iEARN Egypt and E-era held the YouthCaN Egypt 2010 conference in collaboration with SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) Mansoura. More than 100 students from about ten schools from Alexandria, Cairo, Giza and Mansoura participated in the conference activities. During the conference, Different sessions on environmental issues and technical skills were held. Also, there were a group of activities that were Paper recycling, posters’ designing and Art Murals. iEARN Alumni and volunteers from our Partner Organization helped the students during activities. Along with the conference, there was a plenary session about “Waste Management”. |
